Introduction / Flex

In the first meeting of Winter 2010, we will discuss the plan for the rest of the quarter, as well as open the floor for any issues members want to discuss in philosophy.

Please think about what you might like to discuss this quarter. The current ideas for meeting topics for subsequent meetings include:

• Selected readings from Dr. Andrew Bernstein's Objectivism in One Lesson
• Discussion of interesting questions from Ayn Rand Answers (one week for each of the 4 sections of the book)
• "The Cashing In: The Student Rebellion"
• Abortion and Children's Rights
• Philosophy and TV, Round 2
• Aesthetics
